A fragrance can develop differently depending on skin type, body chemistry, climate, humidity, storage, application method, and time after application. The same perfume may feel different from one person to another, and that is a natural part of wearing fragrance.

Product images are representative. The colour of the bottle, label, cap, outer box, and packaging may look slightly different depending on your device screen, lighting, or production batch.

We may update, discontinue, restock, revise, or remove a product at any time without prior notice. A product being shown on the website does not guarantee that it will be available when you place your order.

7. Fragrance Use and Product Care

Sabarmati fragrances are intended for external use only. Please use all products responsibly and according to the instructions on the label or packaging.

We recommend storing perfumes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and the reach of children.

Please avoid spraying fragrance near the eyes, face, broken skin, or sensitive areas. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek appropriate advice.

If you have known allergies, sensitive skin, or are concerned about a particular ingredient, please review the product information carefully before use. You may also contact us before placing your order if you have a product-related question.

Fragrance performance, including longevity and projection, can vary from person to person. These variations do not mean that a product is damaged or defective.

8. Pricing, Taxes, and Product Information

All prices displayed on the Sabarmati website are listed in Indian Rupees.

Applicable taxes, delivery charges, Cash on Delivery charges, discounts, promotional benefits, and other applicable costs will be shown at checkout where relevant.

We reserve the right to change product prices, offers, taxes, delivery charges, and promotional terms at any time. The price displayed at the time you complete your order will generally be the price applicable to that order.

Occasionally, a product may be listed with an incorrect price or incorrect information because of a technical error, typographical error, or system issue. If this happens, we may correct the error and cancel or amend the affected order after informing you.

9. Payment Methods

We accept prepaid online payment methods that are displayed at checkout. Depending on your location and the availability of the service, we also accept Cash on Delivery.

Available payment methods may include:

  • Net banking
  • Wallets or payment applications, where available
  • Cash on Delivery, where available

Payment options may vary based on your delivery address, order value, product availability, delivery partner coverage, or other operational requirements.

For prepaid orders, payment must be completed successfully before the order can be processed.

For Cash on Delivery orders, payment must be made in full at the time of delivery. The delivery partner may accept cash or another payment method supported by them at the time of delivery.

We reserve the right to make Cash on Delivery unavailable for certain pincodes, order values, locations, products, promotional orders, or customers where needed for operational or fraud-prevention reasons.

10. Cash on Delivery Orders

Cash on Delivery is offered as a convenience for eligible orders. Its availability is not guaranteed for every location or every order.

If you choose Cash on Delivery, please ensure that:

  • Your shipping address and phone number are correct
  • Someone is available to receive the order
  • The full payment is ready at the time of delivery
  • You inspect the outer parcel for visible damage before accepting it, where possible
  • You contact us promptly if there is an issue with the delivered product

Repeated refusal of Cash on Delivery orders, incorrect delivery information, or suspected misuse may result in Cash on Delivery being unavailable for future orders.

11. Order Confirmation and Acceptance

After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation through email, SMS, WhatsApp, or another available communication channel. This confirmation means that we have received your order request. It does not always mean that the order has been accepted, packed, or dispatched.

An order is considered accepted only after it has been processed and prepared for dispatch.

We may contact you if we need additional information to process the order, including confirmation of your address, contact number, payment status, or product selection.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order in certain situations, including:

  • Product unavailability
  • Incorrect pricing or website errors
  • Payment failure
  • Incomplete order information
  • Unserviceable delivery address
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Misuse of promotions or discounts
  • Bulk purchasing for unauthorised resale
  • Repeated refusal of Cash on Delivery orders

If a prepaid order is cancelled by us after payment has been received, we will process the applicable refund to the original payment source, subject to the processing timelines of the relevant bank, payment gateway, or payment provider.

12. Order Cancellation by the Customer

We will try to help if the order has not already been processed, packed, or handed over to the courier. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.

If cancellation is accepted for a prepaid order, any eligible refund will be processed to the original payment method. Please note that bank and payment gateway processing times may vary.

13. Shipping and Delivery

We work with delivery partners to deliver your Sabarmati order safely and efficiently.

Estimated delivery timelines, delivery charges, and available delivery options may be shown at checkout. These timelines are estimates and can vary depending on your location, courier capacity, weather conditions, public holidays, local restrictions, or other factors beyond our control.

Please ensure that the shipping address, pincode, phone number, and recipient name are accurate before placing your order.

We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address details
  • The recipient being unavailable
  • Courier delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Local restrictions
  • Natural events
  • Security checks
  • Delivery partner operational issues
  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier may attempt delivery again or return the parcel to us according to their process.

14. Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Products

We take care while packing every order. If your product arrives damaged, incorrect, or has a visible manufacturing defect on delivery, please contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery.

To help us review the issue, please share:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos or videos of the product
  • Photos or videos of the outer packaging
  • A brief description of the concern

For eligible damaged or incorrect products reported within the 3-day window, we will review the case and guide you through the return or replacement process. Where a return or replacement is approved for a damaged product received on delivery, Sabarmati will arrange the return and replacement at no additional cost.

No return or exchange request will be accepted after 3 calendar days from delivery, except where we choose to review a specific product defect separately.

15. Returns and Exchanges

Perfume is a personal-use product. For hygiene, safety, and quality reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, fragrance preference, or personal expectation of performance.

Returns and exchanges are not accepted for:

  • A fragrance that does not match personal preference
  • A fragrance that smells different on your skin than expected
  • Concerns about longevity, projection, or scent performance
  • Products that have been used, opened, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • Requests made after 3 calendar days from delivery
  • Products purchased during special offers or promotions, unless they arrived damaged or incorrect
  • Damage caused by improper storage, accidental breakage, misuse, or handling after delivery

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights available to you under applicable law.

16. Refunds

Refunds are issued only when Sabarmati approves a cancellation, return, or resolution in accordance with these Terms and our Returns and Exchanges Policy.

Where a refund is approved:

  • Prepaid order refunds will generally be sent to the original payment source
  • Cash on Delivery refunds may require bank account or UPI details from the customer
  • Processing time may vary based on the payment provider, bank, or platform used
  • Delivery charges, if applicable, may not be refundable unless the issue was caused by an error on our side

We may request additional details before processing a refund to ensure that it is sent safely and correctly.

17. Promotions, Discounts, and Offers

From time to time, Sabarmati may offer discounts, gifts, limited-time offers, bundles, promotional codes, or other benefits.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions are subject to availability and may be changed, extended, withdrawn, or ended without prior notice.

Promotional codes cannot usually be combined with other offers unless clearly stated. A promotional code has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

If an order is cancelled, returned, or refunded, the related promotional benefit may no longer apply.

18. Intellectual Property

The Sabarmati name, logo, fragrance names, product descriptions, photographs, website design, packaging design, artwork, text, videos, graphics, and other website content belong to Sabarmati or are used with permission.

You may browse the website and use its content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, sell, display, or use any Sabarmati content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from us.
